GYMNASTICS
QUALIFICATION:
OPEN OPTIONAL - Gymnasts must have placed first, second or third at their AAU District Championships. For girls, fourth to twelfth place finishers in all age divisions may qualify for the AAU National Championships provided they score a minimum of 29.00 AA. Open Optionals - girls will advance to finals (top 10 each event).
INTERMEDIATE OPTIONAL - These girls will compete as a separate competition. This “intermediate optional” program will compete using the AAU Girls Gymnastics Modified Rules as printed on the web site at www.aausports.org.
Elite levels or above gymnasts are ineligible to compete. Winners of the USA Gymnastics National Junior Olympics Championships are eligible to compete providing they meet all AAU qualification requirements.
TEAM PERFORMANCE GYMNASTICS - No qualification required, open meet.

First, second, and third place finishers in AAU District Swimming Championship Meets, in individual events under 400M, will qualify. In addition, swimmers who meet or beat the U.S. Swimming long course “A” minimum time standard for all 200M, 400M and 1500M events and "BB” time standards for events under 200M are eligible to compete in the events where they meet the minimum time standards.. Qualification for the 400M and 1500M is time only. The time standard must have been met during a bona fide competition, whether it was AAU, USA Swimming, YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, Parks & Recreation, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Teams may qualify at a District Championship or if no Championship offered, teams may enter without qualifying. There is not a limit to the number of teams that may represent a single District. A team may only represent a single District and all members comprising a team must be from the same AAU District (or released by their District according to the guidelines in the annual AAU Wrestling Manual). Teams (in a District which holds qualifying events) must receive approval from that District wrestling chair if they did not qualify and wish to bring a team.
